AFMS BSc Nursing Course 2025: Overview 

The BSc (Nursing) course is conducted at six esteemed Colleges of Nursing across India. Upon completion, selected candidates will serve as Military Nursing Service (MNS) officers.

AFMS BSc Nursing Course 2025: Eligibility Criteria

  • Gender and Marital Status: Only unmarried/divorced/legal separated/widowed female candidates without encumbrances.
  • Nationality: Indian citizen only.
  • Date of Birth: Between 01 October 2000 and 30 September 2008 (inclusive).
  • Education: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with 50% aggregate marks in the first attempt as a regular student.
  • NEET (UG) 2025: Must qualify NEET 2025 conducted by NTA.
  • Physical Standards:
    • Minimum height: 152 cm (147 cm for Hill/North-East candidates)
    • 2 cm growth allowed if below 18 years
    • Weight as per Weight for Height Chart (Appendix B)
    • Medical fitness assessed by Special Medical Board (SMB)
  • SC/ST Candidates: Must upload valid certificate issued by competent authority.
  • NCC 'C' Certificate: Must be uploaded if applicable.

  • Register Online:
  • Application Fee: Rs. 200 /- (All Candidates)
  • SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying application fees

AFMS BSc Nursing Course 2025: Selection Process

  • Shortlisting: Based on NEET scores, details on JIA website. No date change allowed.
  • Document Verification: Bring originals as listed in admit card. If unavailable, bring institutional receipt and undertaking.
  • Test of General Intelligence & General English (ToGIGE):
    • Computer Based Test (CBT) with 40 MCQs (80 marks)
    • 30 minutes duration
    • 0.5 negative marks for wrong answers
  • Psychological Assessment and Interview:
    • Conducted by Board of Officers
    • Includes GK, academics, hobbies, achievements, etc.
  • Medical Examination:
    • Conducted by SMB
    • Appeal allowed with ₹40 fee and application within 24 hrs
    • Absence will result in "UNFIT IN ABSENTIA"
