Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidates must be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).
- Upper age limit at the time of enrolment: 21 years.
Marital & Pregnancy Condition
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
- Female candidates must not be pregnant during the 4-year service period.
Educational Qualification
For Science Subjects
- 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics & English with 50% in aggregate and 50% in English
- OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering (relevant streams) with 50% in aggregate and English
- OR 2-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects Physics & Math with 50% in aggregate and English
For Other than Science Subjects
- 10+2 in any stream with 50% in aggregate and 50% in English
- OR 2-year Vocational Course with 50% in aggregate and English
Domicile Requirements
- Permanent domicile or children of serving/retired Air Force personnel (COAFP-I / COAFP-II) are eligible.
- Domicile proof must match the declared domicile at registration.
Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2025: Physical & Medical Standards
- Height: 152 cm for both males and females (relaxation for NE and hilly regions)
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age
- Chest: Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion (males); proportionate (females)
- Vision: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6; no LASIK/PRK surgery allowed
- Tattoos: Allowed only on specific body parts; tribal tattoos accepted as per tradition
- No use of drugs/substance abuse; Zero tolerance policy
Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2025: Pay Scale & Benefits
- 1st Year: ₹30,000/month
- 4th Year: ₹40,000/month
- Seva Nidhi Package after 4 years: Approx ₹10.04 Lakh (tax-free)
- Medical and CSD facilities during service
- Life Insurance Cover: ₹48 Lakhs (non-contributory)
Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
Phase I - Online Test
- Science Subjects: 60 mins (Physics, Math, English)
- Other than Science: 45 mins (English, RAGA)
- Both Subjects: 85 mins
- Marking: +1 for correct, -0.25 for wrong answers
Phase II
- Physical Fitness Test (1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, squats)
- Adaptability Test-I & II
- Document Verification
Phase III - Medical Examination
- Complete medical tests including blood, urine, ECG, and ultrasound (for females)
- Option for appeal against unfit decision by paying ₹40/-
