Position: Technical Intern
- Number of Positions: 63 (Tentative)
- Duration: 1 Year (Full-time, contractual)
- Monthly Stipend: ₹25,000
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as of the last date of application submission
Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, Civil, IT, or Computer Science)
- Minimum 65% marks in the qualifying degree
- Candidates should be recent graduates or expected to complete their degree in the 2024-25 academic year
- Final year students awaiting results may apply with provisional certification
Responsibilities of Prasar Bharati Technical Intern
Interns will play a vital role in supporting technical operations at Radio and TV stations. Their duties will include:
- Installation and maintenance of broadcast and IT equipment
- Signal monitoring, troubleshooting, and live telecast support
- Working on studio upgrades, infrastructure development, and civil/electrical maintenance
- Participating in digital archiving and IT server management
- Assisting with special live events and outdoor broadcast setups

- Assam: Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Tezpur, Jorhat, Dhubri, Haflong, Nagaon, Lumding

- Meghalaya: Shillong, Cherrapunjee
- Mizoram: Aizawl

Note: For Civil Engineering roles, eligibility is limited to the CCW Guwahati vertical only.
Important Terms
- The engagement is strictly contractual, with no claim for permanent employment
- Interns must not take up other assignments during the engagement
- Either party can terminate the contract with one month’s notice
- Selection may include tests or interviews; no travel allowance will be provided
